An incomplete sheet copper alloy strap end with silvering, dating to the Medieval period, between AD 1350 – 1450 (length: 32.5mm; width at riveted end: 11.5mm; thickness: 5.5mm; weight: 3.5g). This strap end is tongue-shaped and sub-triangular in form with a pointed terminal. The artefact comprises of two probable separate sheets, which may have originally had a forked spacer between them. A cast copper alloy stud of probable sixteenth century date. The one-piece stud measures 21.3mm by 20.5mm by 2.4mm and weighs 3.4g. The terminals are in the form of fleurs-de-lis and in the centre is a flower. The back is flat and the front is convex. The stud has a square cross section and has been bent sideways. There are faint traces of silvering or tinning on the front of the stud. A broadly similar stud can be seen in Read's History Beneath our Feet (1995, pp. 115-6, no. 742).

Male and female pair of silvered copper alloy hooked tags. The female tag is flat, D-shaped in plan and has a rectangular bar at one end. Evenly spaced around the perimeter are three integral trefoil shaped loops for attachment to the cloth. The perimeter of the surface is decorated with punched ring and dot motifs. In the centre of the face is an incised flower or plant with six stems with curved terminals. Above the plant are four incised crescents and an incised and ribbed triangle. The flat shield-shaped plate has an incomplete rectangular attachment loop at one end and three trefoil shaped loops around the edge of the plate. A cast copper alloy dress fastener hook piece of post-medieval date. The fastener measures 33.6mm by 16.8mm by 2.2mm and weighs 4g. It has an teardrop-shaped plate with a trapezoidal loop at one end. At the other end there is a small projecting circular loop and there are two further circular loops on each side of the plate, adjacent to the trapezoidal hook. The small holes may have been used for attachment to cloth. The front of the plate has a bevelled edge and traces of silvering or tinning.
