Cast spherical tinned or silvered copper alloy bell with iron pea. Rectangular suspension loop with circular piercing. One of the sound holes in the upper hemisphere is hardly pierced. Both hemispheres of the bell are decorated with a fish-scale pattern (emanating from the raised central rib) and there is a raised love-heart on either side of the linear sound hole in the lower hemisphere. There is a hole (damage) in the upper hemisphere. There are traces of tinning/silvering all over. Length 40.44mm, diameter c.30.5mm, weight 46.09g.

An early-medieval (late Saxon) copper-alloy hooked fastener belonging to Read's early medieval Class C, single sharp-hooked clasps. The fastener is triangular with a ridged zoomorphic collar at the junction of hook and plate and a pair of attachment holes at the other end. The plate is decorated with a panel of symmetrical interlace inlaid with silver (much of which is now missing). The hook survives well. An Anglo-Saxon copper alloy sleeve clasp dating to the 6th century AD. The clasp is of Hines form B18b (Hines, 1993, p59). The clasp is the 'catch-piece', having a small integral rearward hook on the underside. The front of the clasp is highly decorative. Cast copper alloy button probably dating from the post medieval or early modern period (1600-1750). The button is bi-conical (almost globular) with a metallic silvered / grey coloured surface patina. The rear of the button has a small square shaped scar on it where the iron wire loop conjoined; remnants of this wire are extant within the hollow button and there is also a large area of iron corrosion on the front face. Cast copper alloy buckle of medieval date (1250 - 1400). The frame of the buckle is sub-rectangular (D Shaped) in plan and D shaped in cross section. The pin is missing. The frame measures 19.6mm length, 15.4mm width and is 4.5mm thick. The buckle weighs 2.12 grams. The buckle frame is relatively plain. The only elements of decoration are two moulded rounded cylindrical knobs either side of a recessed pin rest. The strap bar has been off set and also recessed at both the top and bottom edge. A fragment of a early post medieval copper alloy pin, only the pin head remains. The head is conical, with one half semi-spherical, and is made from wire wrapped around the head of the shaft (cf. Margeson 1993, 12; fig. 5). This style dates to the 17th century. The head has patches of silvering remaining. The fragment is covered in a light green patina; it measures 13.2mm (dia.) x 20.7mm (length), and weighs 2.5g.
