Post-medieval copper alloy dress hook dating to the 16th century AD. This is a Read Class D Type 6 trefoil dress hook.
The dress hook is composite in construction comprised of sheeting, wire and ground-supported twisted wire filigree and pellets, with a wire hook and loop attached to the reverse of a die-stamped front plate. The front consists of a trefoil of domed bosses each with four large annulets encircling a small annulet and a pellet. There is also a central setting, probably for a glass bead which is now missing. Ninty-seven incomplete and fragmented Post Medieval cast copper alloy Crotal Bells, circa AD1600 - AD1850. 97 random finds from South Cambridgeshire district. The heaviest piece, an incomplete bell with an all over "fish scale" design weighs 13.7g. Six other fragments have this same design but all come from the lower half of the bell chamber. The smallest piece, with a curvilinear 'sunburst' design measures 12.9mm x 11.5mm and weighs 2.3g. The combined total weight of all bell parts is 1265.8g. The upper half of a Roman copper-alloy finger ring, broken below each shoulder. The expanded oval bezel is slightly asymmetrical and has a sub-circular recessed cell, positioned off-centre and filled with red enamel . The shoulders narrow into a slender band, circular in section. The top of the bezel is smooth and flat and fine tool marks are visible on the underside.

A cast copper alloy figurine of a cockerel of Roman date. The details are basic, with the comb atop the head suggested by a groove and the wings suggested by raised oblongs at each side of the body. The tail is crescent shaped and thin. Silvering is still present in the grooves beneath the wings and at the legs. The legs are resting on a small oval platform 6mm long and 4mm wide. A fragment of a cast copper alloy strap mount, dating to the 17th century AD. Lozenge shaped in plan with V-shaped nothes taken at regular intervals around the edge. The front face is decorated with two rows of circular floral motif stamps. The erevsre has the remains of two prongs, broken close to the surface. The face has evidence of tinning or silvering (silvering is more likley).

A fragment of a Post Medieval cast copper alloy Spur, circa AD1550-AD1650. The fragment consists of a short piece of the Spur arm, 'D' shaped in cross-section, which has a figure of eight terminal. A single "dagger" shape strap attachment is connected to one eyelet. The metal of the spur arm has a high Tin content giving it a dark grey appearance, and there are small traces of silvering around the terminal. A copper-alloy nail-cleaner strap-end of Roman date.
The artefact has rounded shoulders, and long sides that converge towards a pair of forked points. The loop is on the same plane as the body and consists of a sub-rectangular plate with a circular rivet hole located just off-centre. A second rivet hole is located one third of the way down the body, immediately below a transverse groove. A cast copper alloy artefact of unknown function of late Iron Age - Roman date, more likely of Roman date (100 BC - 250 AD). The artefact may be best described as a handle being sub-triangular in shape, irregular in profile and sub-rectangular in section. The profile is likely to be distorted in the soil - in shape it is similar to a bow brooch but is much heavier than most examples seen. A Post Medieval Silver-tin plated copper alloy jetton of Louis XIV (1643-1715) maded by Wolf Lauffer II, probably dating to the 1640's. Obverse shows a young bust of the King right. Reverse shows crowned French shield bearing three lis. It measures 28.15mm in diameter and weighs 2.3g.
Similar examples can be seen in Mitchener (1988), page 489-90, probably number 1738 which is plated with a thin mix of silver and tin.
