An incomplete copper alloy lozenge shaped seal box lid dating c. AD 100-300. The lid has a recessed panel on the front with two concentric circles. The central ring contains pale green enamel. A collared lobe, which would have formed the hinge which attached the lid to the box, projects from the top of the lid. At the bottom of the lozenge is a roughly horizontal break. The lid has a dark brown patina.

An incomplete Roman copper-alloy seal box dating to circa AD 43-410. The extant element consists of the lid from a seal box. It is lozenge-shaped with rounded lobes projecting from the cardinal points. The apex lobe is missing but would been a hinge attached to the base. The front face of the box is decorated with a central floral motif of four petals arranged in the cardinal directions set within a circular border. A complete, cast copper-alloy Roman seal box, dating to c.AD 75-250.
The object consists of two parts a circular dished lid and a pierced flat plate base. These are attached to one another via a hinge creating a box that is circular in plan and rectangular in cross section.

The lid is square in plan and bears a 'celtic'/La Tene inspired "N-swash" design on its upper face. Incomplete Roman copper-alloy seal box lid with enamelled decoration. It is leaf- or drop-shaped: convex at the hinge end with straight side edges which taper steeply towards the pointed end, the tip of which is missing to a worn break. The hinge is a single pierced lug, rectangular in cross-section and sub-triangular (with rounded corners) when viewed from the side. The perforation is filled with red-brown corrosion products.

A copper alloy Roman seal box lid, dating from AD 50 - 250. The lid is drop shaped (or piriform) and is decorated with a pelta shape from which descends lines in relief forming a Y shape, with a reserved dot at the base of the Y. The box has a blue enamel field, with red enamel in the lozenge shape below the pelta, and turquiose enamel inside the pelta. The lid is disc-shape with seven equally spaced hemispherical knops around the edge and an attachment loop on the upper edge.
