An Iron Age silver unit of the Southern Region / Regini, probably dating to the period c.60-20 BC. Obverse: Bust right with crescent shaped hair curls. Reverse: Horse right, pellet in ring above, pellets and broken ring in front, possible devolved lyre motif below. This coin probably belongs in Bean's (2000: p. 70) type QsT1-6 group, likely related to silver units of the Regini with lyre motif beneath the horse (e.g. ABC, p. 53, no. 650) and with distribution focusaed in southern Britain around West Sussex and Hampshire. A number of examples are now recorded on the PAS, cf. SUR-CA4497…

An uninscribed silver unit struck for the Southern Region/Atrebates and Regni, dating c. 60-45 BC. Rudd's 'Worthing Wonder' type. Obverse: head right with braided/corded hair. Reverse: triple-tailed horse standing right, cogwheel and pellet-in-annulet below, further pellet-in-annulets in front of horse's head and adjacent to hind legs, horse's foreleg above. As ABC p. 54, no. 659. This coin is the first of its type to be recorded on the PAS database. Fewer than five are known to exist.

An Iron Age uninscribed potin unit dating to the early first century BC. It is likely that this potin is of the 'Rounded Bull' type rather than 'Angular Bull' type which is more common to Sussex; cf.: ABC 165. One face depicts an outline head left; the eye seems to be missing its central pellet. The other face depicts an outline bull mostly of curved lines, butting right. Cf.: ABC 165. It seems to be closer in appearance to some exampels of the 'Striated' types, cf.: BMC 680, however this coin bears no striations.
