An incomplete copper-alloy Iron Age unit, probably of the Kent or North Thames Region / Cantiaci, dating to the period c.60-20 BC. Obverse type is unclear, possible animal right? Reverse: Horse right with large hooves, spurs on hind legs, front legs sharply bent, ring in front. The precise type for this coin is unclear in part due to the preservation of the coin. It is likely to belong in the Cantiaci and related series, probably similar to ABC nos. 258, 288 or alternatively nos. 2312-2318. Measurements: 12.27mm in diameter, 2mm thick and 0.98g in weight.

A complete Iron age (c80-50BC) Gallic imported bronze unit. This coin is probably from the Carnutes tribe of, what was, Northern and Eastern France. Identification is difficult as the unit is very corroded, but thanks go to Liz Cottam of Ancient British Coins for her help. Probably, Obverse: Head right; Reverse: Eagle right with eaglet and snake. The bronze unit is 14.3mm by 13.2mm in diameter, is 2.8mm thick and weighs 1.85g. An example of this coin can be found in Ancient British Coins, ABC109.

A worn copper alloy Iron Age unit, a bronze core for a plated contemporary copy of a Dobunni 'Cotswold Cock' silver unit (ABC 2012). There is damage to the edges of the flan however it is unclear if this is post-depositional or if the flan was small and damaged in the first place. There is no trace of any silvering remaining on the coin. This Dobunni issue dates from c. 50-25 BC. VA 1020, BMC 2950-51.

An Iron Age copper alloy unit, probably of Tasciovanus (20-9 BC), dating 15-10 BC. The obverse is very worn so difficult to discern what it would have depicted. The reverse depicts a horse running left. Although the obverse is no longer legible, the ring and dot at the head and shoulder of the horse, as well as the crescent in the field, are common on the coins of Tasciovanus.
