A folded medieval silver Scottish penny of Alexander III dating to c AD 1280-1286 (second coinage).  ALEXANDER DEI GRA obverse depicting bust facing left with sceptre.  REX SCOTORVM reverse depicting a long cross with four mullets with 6 points, one in each quarter.  Diameter: 18.01mm; thickness: 0.53mm and weight: 1.2g.  The coin is bent completely over and partially broken, with the obverse being mostly hidden,thus not allowing a proper and full identification.
