Reverse: (VO?)[…]TA, Emperor(?) togate, standing left sacrificing over a tripod. Prototype of the mint of Rome.
The bust type is slightly unclear due to the preservation of the coin but seems to be an older Caracalla rather than Severus, Geta, or Elagabalus. What survives of the reverse suggests a Vota type but with legend that isn't seen on Caracalla's later issues, probably indicating this is an irregular copy and perhaps combining obverse and reverse types of different issues.

Probably LIBERTAS AVGG reverse type depicting Libertas standing left holding pileus and rod. Prototype of the mint of Rome. This is probably a contemporary copy combining an obverse from early in Caracalla's reign (c. AD 198-200) with a reverse type proper to Septimius Severus dating to c.AD 197-200. Cf. RIC IV.1 no. 133 for the probable reverse type.
The coin has a copper-alloy core with plated silver surface, much of which is missing at the edges of the flan.
