A Post-Medieval to modern copper-alloy halfpenny of George III (1760-1820), dating to c.AD 1770-1807. The coin has been modified and has a serrated edge. The serrations are shallow (0.5mm) and angled to creating wave-like teeth flowing anti-clockwise on the obverse. Dimensions: diameter: 29.36mm,  thickness: 1.80mm,  weight: 9.04g The object has the appearance of a cog.  Another modified halfpenny of George II: LEIC-EDDE9B; suggests it may have been an unfinished project and meant to be reused as whirligig or buzz disc/wheel.
