<full>A slightly worn silver&#45;plated copper&#45;alloy contemporary copy of a Roman denarius of Tiberius, &#39;PONTIF MAXIM&#39;, &#39;Lyon&#39; mint (AD 14&#45;37; cf. R.I.C. 30; Reece issue period 1). The copper alloy can be seen in areas where the silver has flaked off.  The plating on the reverse face is particluarly inconsistent around the edge.
