An intentionally worn silver coin, possibly a sixpence of William III (AD 1694-1702), probably intentionally worn and countermarked for use as a 'slap' token, or possibly a love token.
Both faces of the coin are worn to blank and are therefore illegible. One face is stamped with the letters N N, in differing fonts, one roughly above the other. It appears that there was also an attempt on this side to stamp the letter W multiple times. On the other face, roughly in the centre of the coin, the letters WW and P are stamped. The WW sits perpendicular to the P.

A silver "love token" of post-medieval date. The surfaces of the coin have been worn (deliberately ?) smooth and so the ruler cannot be identified. The size and form suggest that it is a milled sixpence, probably of William III. The coin has two deliberate folds. It measures 19.4mm diameter by 0.9mm thick and weighs 1.62g.
