An incomplete silver half groat of Edward IV (first reign, 1461 - 1470) dating from 1464 - 1470 (Light coinage). Mint of Canterbury. The initial mark is unclear but is probably a pall, there are quatrefoils by the neck and a knot below the bust, as well as a spur (stem) in one quarter of the reverse.

Reference: North Vol. 2, No. 1590 Vb. The coin has been clipped and a small piece is missing.
