Gold quarter noble of Henry VI, Class C (N1420), dating AD 1422-1427. Obverse has a shield quartered with the arms of England and France, with a lis above, all within a tressure of eight arches. The legend reads hEnRIC DI GRA REX ANGL with trefoil stops and a lis after HENRIC. Reverse has a floriated cross with a lis at the end of each limb, in each angle a lion passant guardant, with a lis at the centre, all within a tressure of eight arches. The legend reads EXALTABITVR IN GLORIA with mullet and annulet stops.
The coin is distorted by several dents and crease…
