Incomplete and worn silver penny of Henry V with a pierced cross initial mark dating 1413-c.1420AD from the York mint. Obverse has the crowned bust of the king facing with an annulet to the right and a mullet to the left of the crown. Legend illegible. The reverse has a long cross with a pellet at the centre and three pellets in each quarter. The cross divides the legend which reads CI[VI / TAS] / EBO / [RACI].
Measurements: Diameter: 16.9mm; thickness: 0.3mm; weight: 0.76g; die axis: 5.

The long cross on the reverse has transferred to the obverse, leaving a darkened mark which obscures some of the detail of the bust and legend.
