Obverse description: Crowned bust facing within a tressure of arches, possible annulet to right of crown, possibly mullet on breast
The coin is in poor condition, badly scratched on the obverse (this appears to be post-depositional) and badly chipped around the edges in places.

The obverse depicts a forward facing crowned bust within a tressure of arches with a trefoil at each intersection. The legend reads HENRICVS D GRA REX ANGL [ ] FRA. The reverse depicts a long cross with a trefoil in each angle. The inner legend reads CIVI/TAS/LON/DON and the outer legend reads POSVI/DEVM A/DIVTOR/E' MEVM. The initial mark is a cross with a pellet in the centre.
