Medieval jetton:copper alloy English jetton, minted between AD 1280 - 1350 (Mitchiner, 1998; 124-116). It is probably a jetton of Edward I (1272-1307), a sterling head type (Berry, 1974 Plate 1 No. 5) The jetton is in a very worn condition. The jetton has a hole in the centre. Reverse: Hexagonal enclosing rosette (6 petals): border, pellets, plus 4-foil at each tip of hexagon. Fair surface condition. It measures 21.38mm in diameter and weights 2.4g.
