Medieval jetton:copper alloy English jetton, minted between AD 1280 - 1350 (Mitchiner, 1998; 124-116). A copper alloy jetton that has been pierced in the centre with an iron nail. The decoration appears to be of a king's head on the obverse with a long cross and pellets on the reverse - this may suggest it is an English token dating from the 14th century. The jetton is bent in half.

Reverse: Hexagonal enclosing rosette (6 petals): border, pellets, plus 4-foil at each tip of hexagon. Fair surface condition. It measures 21.38mm in diameter and weights 2.4g.
