A silver-plated contemporary copy of a siliqua, probably of Julian II (AD 360-363) (Reece period 18). Reverse legend reads VOL (sic) X MVLT X, within a wreath. Loosely based on a coin from 'Trier'. See RIC vol.VIII, p.168, cf. nos.363-365. the Trier coins do not have an officina letter. Obverse legend reads (IVLIAN?) [...]AVG. Obverse shows a pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right. Die axis is 6 o'clock. Weight is 1.62g, diameter is 17mm. Reverse fields and exergue read: / //T(R)S.
