The emperor is Delmatius, who reigned as Caesar for only two years until Constantine I's death, between 335-337 AD. He was expunged by Constantine's sons in the purges following their father's death in 337. This coin comes from Lugdunum, c. 337 AD. It is very rare. No other examples of this emperor have been recorded for LANCUM to date.
Obv: FL DELMATI-VS NOB CAES. Laureate, draped, cuirassed bust right.
Rev: GLOR-IA EXERC-ITVS. Two soldiers, one standard. Standard inscribed 'O'.
