A complete, Roman, struck or hammered, copper alloy - probably billon Radiate (Antoninianus) coin of Gallienus (260-268AD). Obverse: Radiate bust right Inscription: [G](A)LLIENVS A(VG). Reverse: central standing figure probably Salus feeding a snake rising from altar with sceptre. Inscription: [SAL]V[S AVG]. Die axis: 12 o'clock. The coin has an oval shaped flan with an edge chip and is in very worn or fair condition with a black, silvery patina and a few spots of green verdigris around the radiate crown and else where.
