A Medieval penny of Edward IV, First Reign (1461-1470), Mint of Durham AD 1471-72. The coin is very worn and broken all along one side. Due to corrosion it has a brown- grey patina.

A complete Medieval silver penny of Edward 1 (1272-1307 AD), probably class 10, minted in Durham. The reverse reads [CIVI/ TAS] DVR/ EME, it also has a long cross dividing the inscription with three pellets in each angle. The obverse is extremely worn and scratched.
