An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman T-shaped Brooch, dating from the 1st-2nd century AD. The remains of the brooch consist of a portion of the integrally-cast projecting head loop, followed by a 30.03 mm wide and 4.4 mm diameter cylindrical axial cross-bar tube, a tapering sub-triangular body and sub-oval moulded foot knop (6.45 mm diam). A fragment of a cast copper alloy object, probably a Roman brooch of the Trumpet type, c. 1st-2nd century AD. The fragment consists of a small sub-rectangular section at the top, followed by a semi-circular middle segment and a portion of the triangular-sectioned bottom half of the brooch; both the head and the foot of the brooch are missing, including the spring, pin and catchplate. A fragment of a cast copper alloy Roman brooch, probably of Hod Hill or possibly Strip Bow type, c. 1st century AD. The fragment consists of a simple rolled back hinge tube, which would have held an axial pin mechanism connecting to the pin running out through a gap in the centre. A portion of the hinge mechanism is still intact in the more complete right side of the tube; the pin is completely missing and the left side of the tube has broken almost completely off. An incomplete cast copper alloy 'La Tene' style brooch dating to the early Iron Age, c. 475-400 BC. Hawkes and Hull Type 1A. The remains of the brooch consist of the bow, foot and catchplate; the head of the brooch is missing from an old break. From the break at the head the bow curves up at nearly 90 degrees and thickens in section. The brooch curves back down and narrows in section, flattening at the catchplate; the catchplate is triangular in shape and is curls upwards at its edge to secure the pin. An incomplete Iron Age cast copper alloy La Tene brooch, probably type 1B. The head of the brooch originally consisted of four coils to the spring in a bi-lateral form with two loops located on either side of the bow. One spring turn and the chord that joined the two sides of the spring together are missing. The bow turns up from the head at an initial 90 degrees whereupon it flattens and widens into a leaf-shape before turning back down at 90 degrees to the foot and catchplate.
