A very worn silver Post Medieval penny of Charles I, probable London mint with two pellets as an initial mark dating to c. AD 1625-1649. Fourth bust with 'I' behind bust, Group D (North 2268). The lettering 'ET' on the obverse appears to lie over part of the bust. This coin has been pierced through at 6 o'clock on the obverse, possibly to allow for re-use as a token or pendant.
