A very worn and heavily clipped Medieval silver penny of Edward I, minted at London dating to c. AD 1292-1307. This coin has suffered extensive wear on the obverse and reverse which has made the legends largely illegible alongside the extensive clipping. However a single closed 'E' is visible suggesting this coin is of classes 6-15, though the lack of additional letters and bust render further classification difficult.
