A silver annular medieval brooch in ten fragments, dating to the 13th/14th centuries. It is complete with the pin present. The hoop is circular in plan as well as in cross section. It has eight lozenge-shaped plates attached onto the front of the hoop. These are decorated with punch decoration, with three different designs in an alternate pattern. One consists of a grid dividing the lozenge into 9-squares with a line in each square; another has four lines dividing the lozenge into four quarters each quarter then has the corner marked out by two lines. A complete cast copper alloy 'S'-shaped belt fastner of Post-Medieval, sixteenth or seventeenth century date (AD 1550 - AD 1700). One terminal is in the form of a snake's head. The object is expanded in the centre as the main body of the snake. At the other end it tapers to a tail. The strap fitting is decorated on one face only. On the upper surface the main body of the snake is decorated by a repeating pattern of V shaped scales pointing towards the tail of the snake. The head has pellet eyes. A complete copper alloy trumpet brooch of broad Roman date, but specifically dating to the 1st-2nd centuries AD. The head is oval in shape and decorated with a groove round the rim. There is a small rectangular protrusion at the top of the head. There is a double collar above and below the full round acanthus button. A cast copper-alloy palstave axe of the Middle Bronze Age, 1500 BC-1150 BC. The axe is worn and incomplete, there is a break at the end opposite to the blade and the surface is inconsistent in colour and pitting. The axe consists of a U-shaped septum and straight-sided open flanges for hafting. The flanges are lozenge-shaped in profile. A complete finger-ring made of gold wire with a circular cross-section measuring roughly 1.5mm in diameter. The bezel has been made by twisting the wire to form a row of three large and loose figures-of-eight, and then the ends of the wire have been wrapped several times around the shoulders. The wire is not otherwise decorated. The ring is in good condition, although both the hoop and bezel have been bent in several places. An incomplete silver seal matrix dating to the Medieval period, probably 14th century in date. The seal has an oval face with a hexagonal conical handle above. A hexagonal collar divides the handle from a trefoil suspension loop. Part of the oval face has been broken meaning that the inscription is no longer complete. A complete finger ring made from silver and dating to the Medieval period (15th-16th centuries). The ring is broadly circular in plan and rectangular section. There are four panels on the hoop, each rectangular in shape, with part of the undecorated hoop visible in between each. Two of the opposite panels are engraved in an iconographic style, depicting a standing figure looking towards the right. The other two opposite panels have floral engraved decoration. The ring is in good condition, with some wear and tear on the interior of the hoop.
