A copper alloy seal matrix dating to the 13th/14th centuries. It is an example of a vesica shape with a cast integral circular loop on the reverse. Around the perimeter of the object, enclosed inside in an incised border, is an inscription that reads +SIGILVM ADAM FEVIR (Seal of Adam Feaver). The As are unbarred. In the centre of the object is incised decoration depicting a hammer and anvil. The metal is green in colour and the object is well preserved. It weighs 7.8g and measures 27.74mm in length, 18.73mm in width and 3.47mm in thickness.
