An incomplete copper alloy bell of Roman date. The bell is triangular in plan with a rectangular suspension loop projecting from the apex. The interior of the bell is undecorated and the clapper no longer remains. The bell has a large fracture which extends most of its length on one side. The metal is a mid blackish-brown colour with some mottled green areas and is worn. The bell is 29.16mm in height, 35.74mm in diameter and weighs 19.1g. A similar example can be seen in Crummy, p,127, no.4168

An incomplete copper alloy buckle dating to the Medieval period, 1300-1500. The buckle frame is rectangular in plan, with a thick bar which is connected to a narrow offset bar by the two shorter edges which are curved. The thick bar is decorated with incised horizontal lines, two at either end and two either side the grrove for the pin. Only one side is decorated, the back is flat and undecorated The pin is no longer present, otherwise the object is in good condition and the metal is green in colour. A complete cast lead spindle whorl of probable medieval date. The spindle whorl is conical with a perforation (Internal diameter of 9.80mm). One side of the spindle whorl is decorated with raised radiating lines with a circular pellet in between. The other face is decorated with ten curved lines. The metal has a white/grey patina and is worn. The spindle whorl is 27.21mm in diameter, 13.15mm thick and weighs 36.3g.

An incomplete copper alloy pin that dates to the Early Medieval period. The pin is globular in shape, with three lines of ring and dot decoration around the sides and a ring and dot motif on the top. The shaft stems from the bottom of the head, but is broken with only 5.14mm remaining. The metal is a green/brown in colour. It weighs 1.8g and measures 12.30mm in length and the head is 7.47mm in diameter. This type of pin generally dates to the 8th and 9th centuries. An incomplete copper alloy buckle dating to the late Early Medieval period with close parallels that have been dated to the 9th-12th centuries. The buckle is D shaped in plan, with a thick curved section and a narrow offset bar. Either side of the bar are sub rectangular projections that have been worn down. The pin has been lost and is no longer present. The object is made of a copper alloy which is a mottled green/brown colour. It weighs 6.9g and measures 29.37mm in length and 21.76mm in width. A complete cast copper alloy composite strap end dating to the Medieval period. The strap end consists of a rectangle which opens out into a circular panel with quatrafoil openwork decoration on one side. Attached to which is a spacer which is broadly rectangular in shape with rectangular protrusions at either side near the circular panel. This spacer terminates in a point.
