An incomplete copper-alloy box chape from a buckle dated to the Medieval period. It is sub-rectangular in shape, tapering slightly towards the end which was attached to the buckle frame which terminates in a collar formed of two ribs. At the opposite end there are two circular holes for separate rivets, both of which are in place. There appears to be decoration on the front of the chape which is possibly l l or w.
The recorder has not seen the object and the identification is from the photograph only.

A copper-alloy buckle pin of medieval date. It is a flat, lozenge shaped strap fitting which terminates at opposing ends with projections, one of which is bent over. The front face is decorated with five separately cast rivets, one centrally and the others at the corners. The front face appears to have been gilded. It can therefore be classified as a Type A5 pin from a disc-on-pin buckle (Redmayne 2014).

It is a flat, rectangular strap fitting which is bent over, possibly due to damage, at one end and which terminates in an open loop at the other end. The front face is decorated with a series of five horizontal grooves at the terminal end and five more near the bend with a ring and dot between the two groups.

A cast copper-alloy buckle of Medieval date. It is an oval frame which is oval in section and has a narrowed, offset bar for the pin which is missing due to old breaks. The frame is undecorated. Attached to the frame in an open loop is a rectangular plate. This has three circular holes for separately cast rivets, two of which are still in place. Some traces of gilding survive on the plate.
It is similar to objects published from London (Egan and Pritchard, 1991), number 304.

Attached to the frame in an open loop is a rectangular plate. This has a central circular separately cast rivet which is still in place with four further rivets in the corners, all also present. They are framed by a rectangular line and it traces of gilding survive on the plate.

The pin is rectangular in section and tapers slightly towards the end. It is attached to the frame with an open loop. The frame is decorated with nine grooves in the outside edge, the central one flanked by larger ribs which act as a rest for the pin.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy hooked tag of Early-medieval date. It is a Read (2008) Early medieval class A type 2 tag which is missing the end of the hook due to old breaks. The plate has a central circular hole with four concentric circles surrounding it. There is a second circular hole just above and to the left of the central one.
It is similar to examples published in Read (2008), number 62.
The recorder did not see the object or take the photograph and unfortunately there is no scale.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy hooked tag of early Post-medieval date. It is a Read Class E, type 3 tag. The plate is sub-circular with a moulded relief of an unequal armed cross with a central pellet and two circular holes in each angle. There are also pellets at the junction between the plate and the loop. The attachment loop is trapezoidal in shape and d-shaped in section and is complete. The hook is missing due to old breaks.
It is similar to examples published in Read (2008) number 412.

A pair of cast copper-alloy dividers of Post-medieval date. They are mathematical or surveyor's dividers and have a globular knopped handle at the hinge. There is a small ridge just below the knop on the outer edge of each of the arms. The upper sections of each arms is flattened and one is recessed to accomodate the other. The arms then become d-shaped in section. There are some decorative facets on the inner edges of the arms near the flattened upper section.
