A copper alloy coin weight probably for a British Unite and dating from 1604 – 1619. It is square in shape but also heavily corroded. The edges are angled, so one face is smaller than the other. The design can only be seen on the larger face; it is a half length figure of a King facing right. It has a length of 17.08mm, width 16.75mm, thickness 5.61mm, weight 8.66g. A copper alloy Medieval cruciform suspension mount. The mount is crossed shaped with four arms extending out at 90 degree angles. One arm tapers to a thin point which is bent at the end. This was probably a suspension loop originally. A rivet survives in the back of the opposing arm. Small traces of gilding still remain in places. A copper alloy pin head dating from the Early Medieval period. The head is polyhedral in shape (a cube with the corners cut off) and each of the four main faces is decorated with a ring and dot motif. There is also a ring and dot on the top. There is a collar where the pin shaft joins. Only a small part of the pin shaft remains and this is circular in section. It probably dates from 720 – 850 AD. It has a length of 19.17mm, width 7.15mm, thickness 2.47mm, weight 2.95g. For reference see YORYM-2B7B77 on the PAS database.
