Part of the handle from a medieval ceramic jug, dating from AD1100-1400. It has an orange fabric, a hard texture and a regular break at both ends. There are rounded quartz and grog inclusions. The outer side of the handle is decorated with shallow, longitudinal grooves. It is 43.6mm long, 20mm wide and 15.2mm thick. It weighs 16.5gm.

A sherd of ceramic tile, probably Roman hypocaust tile. The fabric is orange and marbled with lighter stripes. The unbroken edge is rounded and the upper face has ridges along the edge. It is similar to tiles from Stancil but much lighter coloured and with more clay in the mix. The fragment is 51.6mm long, 46.5mm wide and 23.6mmm thick. It weighs 80gm.

It has a deep groove running around the rim, flanked by two shallower grooves, There are further shallow grooves running around the sides of the vessel below the rim. The fabric is grey, with a buff coloured core and is fine grained. There are grit and quartz inclusions. The broken edges show irregular fractures. It is 39.5mm long, 31.8mm wide and 11mm thick . It weighs 14.1gm.

A rim sherd and a wall sherd of a ceramic vessel, not necessarily from the same vessel. The fabric is hard and the texture is laminated. The outer surface is smooth and black (burnished?) and the inner surface is rougher and has a pink tinge. The inclusions are mainly poorly sorted quartz with some black particles. It has been suggested that this is Rossington Bridge Black Burnished ware. The vessel has a narrow collar and a flared rim. The body sherd is 29.2mm long, 26.3mm wide and 6.1mm thick. It weighs 4.57gm. The rim sherd is 41.1mm long, 34mm wide and 16.6mm thick. It weighs 12.27gm.

The texture is fine and the inclusions are dark grey/black and rounded (black iron ore?). They are well rounded and well sorted, infrequent inclusions. It has been suggested that this is a white ware amphora fragment. It is 56.7mm long, 25.7mm wide and 16.3mm thick. It weighs 20.78 gm. The rim diameter is 18cm.
