Incomplete cast copper alloy housing plate containing part of a (sliding) iron bolt for a door lock, with two attachment lobes with countersunk holes, one containing the remains of an iron nail. The housing is D-sectioned, with the bolt set in a slot on the flat reverse. The intact, closed end is rounded and carries a transverse ribbed moulding which is pierced by a third iron nail. At the broken end the front of the plate is open and iron projects forwards from the bolt. This is probably the remains of a handle for pushing the bolt back and forth. Length >40mm. Part-discoidal fragment of a copper alloy mount with a straight chopped edge, one rivet or attachment hole, rebate around curving edge on one face and a trumpet-like moulding on the other. A V-sectioned groove on this face is the result of a failed attempt at chopping. Diameter circa 25mm. the maximum thickness is 5.5mm. The trumpet moulding is characteristically late Iron Age, but no good parallel for the form of this cap-like object has been noted.

Incomplete gilt copper alloy star-shaped harness mount or belt mount with one (of probably two) integral attachment spike on reverse. Of the star's original ten D-sectioned points only three are complete. A wavy point, with the stub of the attachment spike on the reverse, is flanked by two straight ones. On the front there is a central dot surrounded by an engraved circle. Estimated diameter of 52mm. This may be the Sun of York, a Yorkist symbol (Spencer 1998, 295-7). Perhaps 15th century.

One arm of a pair of copper alloy dividers, both ends missing and slightly bent. They are identical in form, decoration and maker's stamp to an example from the Custom House area of London, which is considered to be of probable Dutch origin (PAS LON-D35902). The stamped impression, much less well preserved on this piece, consists of a crowned shield containing a pile of three saltires. Length >80mm. Width 7mm. Thickness 3.5mm. 16th century.

Incomplete horse harness pendant, worn, corroded and bent. Broken across the perforation in the suspension-loop that retains corroded remains of the iron pin. The springing of the loop is flanked by two slight vertical mouldings and the body is in the form of an early shield-shape with rounded shoulders and with two opposed concave cut-outs with ends projecting beyond sides. There are two almond-shaped perforations in the centre of the shield. 27 x (unbent) >39mm.

Leather stamp with tapering square-sectioned tang, round shoulder plate and a square shank ending in a square or rectangular die-plate. This is incomplete and probably affected by fire. What remains of the device is not interpretable. If the shank is set centrally on the reverse then the die would have been 22mm across in at least one direction. At present it is 16.5 x 13mm. The length measures 59mm (tang only 25mm). Diameter of the shoulder plate is 15mm and the width of shank 7 - 7.5mm. Probably 16th or 17th century.

An incomplete one-piece strap-end, with remains of a split attachment-end comprising the stumps of two broken rectangular projections springing from a hollow-cast globular terminal with small oval perforation (casting fault) towards base. It measures 13 x >19mm. Similar objects with solid terminals have been recorded from Brampton, Burgh Castle, Old Catton, Stow Bardolph and Burgh and Tuttington.
