A complete flint arrowhead of late Neolithic to early Bronze Age (Beaker period) date. The object is roughly triangular in shape and terminates at the top in a sharp point. It has a pronounced barb and tang at each of the two bottom corners, one of which is slightly shorter than the other. Both surfaces exhibit numerous small flake removal scars, most of which radiate outwards from the centre. The flint is a lightly patinated blueish-grey. The object measures 29.9mm high by 24.1mm wide and 5.1mm thick. It weighs 2.9g.

Worn and corroded copper-alloy mount in the form of a figure with blue champlevé enamel eyes, holding a stylised book, with two apertures (on body) and a stud at the rear of the head for attachment. The figure also retains traces of gilding. The object has been somewhat distorted, probably pre-deposition, when it was removed from its original setting. This mount was probably made in the late 12th-13th century. On stylistic grounds it would be attributed to the great manufacturing centre of Limoges, France. A corroded copper-alloy buckle of medieval date. This example of a Disc-on-pin annular buckle probably dates from the 12th to 15th century AD. The object is circular in plan, with a bar dividing it in half. The pin is looped around a thinner section of the frame, and the point rests on the opposite side of the frame. The central section of the pin consists of a circular plate with an empty circular cell at the centre. All parts of the buckle have remaining traces of gilding. The object measures 21.7mm long and wide, and 3.9mm thick. Weight is 5.7g.

An incomplete flint waste flake of uncertain date. The flake is irregular in plan and has a slightly convex dorsal surface. At the proximal end of the ventral surface is a clear bulb-of-percussion and rippling. There is no evidence of re-touch. The flake is broken at the bottom. The flint is a translucent greyish-brown colour. The piece measures 27.6mm long, 22mm wide, 3.9mm thick and weighs 2.9g.

An incomplete copper-alloy hooked mount of possible medieval to post-medieval date. The object takes the form of a strip of copper-alloy which has been bent into a hook shape. The body is rectangular in cross section and undecorated. Both the top of the mount and the tip of the hook are missing. At the top, the body widens out before the break, and appears also to be slightly thinner. The object measures 34.1mm long by 5.1mm wide and 2.2mm thick. The weight is 3.9g.

Medieval spur buckle of suggested mid 13th to late 14th/early 15th century date (R. Whitehead; 1996; pp. 34). The incomplete frame is of unusual form in that it appears possibly to have had an openwork cell at the mid point of the outer edge. Other than this unusual feature, the frame is roughly oval and has an angled ridge at the three surviving 'corners'. The frame tapers into the much narrower integral plate. Half of a late Roman to early Early-medieval copper-alloy buckle; Hawkes and Dunning type IIA (1961; pp. 50-57). The piece represents the right hand side of a zoomorphic buckle which would probably originally have been symmetrical in form. At the apex is an inward-facing head, probably of a stylised dolphin. A re-touched flint flake tool of probable Neolithic date. The flake is sub-rectangular in plan, with a flat proximal end (part of the core platform) and rounded distal end. A probable copper-alloy knife handle of Roman to Post-Medieval date. The object consists of a rectangular block which tapers to a point at the top and has a slit in the underside. This slit extends approximately half way up and contains a piece of the corroded iron blade. It seems likely that the original length of the handle was significantly greater than that of the present artefact. The object measures 37.3mm long, 11.7mm wide and 8mm thick. It weighs 14.2g.

Slightly corroded cast copper alloy pin of Roman to medieval date. The pin has flattened conical head decorated with series of deep grooves which radiate outwards from the central point. The integral shaft extends from the flat reverse of the head. It is of circular section and swells towards the bottom, before tapering in diameter again, to the point where it is broken. The pin is 54.5mm long, of which 7.9mm is the head. The head has a diameter of 10.7mm. The shaft is 4.8mm in diameter at the widest point. The object weighs 6.4g.

An unidentified copper-alloy object. No parallel could be found for this piece, but the general form and decoration suggest that it may be a mount from an early Early-medieval (Anglo-Saxon) bucket (see J.M.Cook; 2004). The object is pelta-shaped, the extension at the top having been broken off. It is thin in secion and has a slight curvature, which may be original or the result of post-depositional damage. A fragment of a copper-alloy Single-loop buckle of medieval date. Probably dates from the late 12th to late 14th centuries AD (see G. Egan and F. Pritchard; 1991; pp.76). The piece consists of part of the buckle's frame, which was probably orginally D-shaped in plan. The top and bottom sides are of thin rectangular section and the outer side has an expanded pin rest with flat surfaces and rounded ends. The axis bar and pin are missing and the buckle is bent and corroded. It measures 26mm long, 39.2mm wide and up to 5.1mm thick (pin rest). The weight is 6.5g.

A small flint blade of probable late Mesolithic date. The blade is thin and has a slightly concave ventral face. It is uncertain whether or not it is complete. The Dorsal face has a central vertical arise, which creates a sub-triangular profile; a further two angled arrises are located at the distal end. One side has numerous shallow flake removal scars. On the reverse is a bulb-of-percussion. The flint is a heavily patinated blueish-white colour. The object measures 22.3mm long, 9.4mm wide and 2.9mm thick. The weight is 0.6g.
