Fragment of a cast copper alloy buckle of Post-Medieval date, c.1600-1700. Originally a double looped buckle with strap bar. Less than half of one loop now remains. The loop has two pointed ends at either point of a lozenge shaped edge. Lobed protrusion above original position of strap bar. It measures 28mm in length, 26mm in width and has a thickness of 4mm. The buckle weighs 3.6 grams.

Cast copper alloy shoe buckle of Post Medieval date, c.1660-1720. The outer edge of the frame is sub-rectangular in shape with rounded corners. The inner of frame is hexagonal having six internal edges. The frame is drilled at the centre of the top and bottom to hold a separate spindle. It is decorated with engraved transverse lines on the outer edge of each loop and around both spindle holes. It measures 21.45mm in length, 15.70mm in width and has a thickness of 3.30mm. The buckle weighs 2.3 grams.

Incomplete cast copper alloy buckle of Post-Medieval date, c.1620-1680 AD. The loop would have originally been trapezoidal in shape and had trefoil shaped ends. Only one half of the buckle loop and strap bar now remain. Lobed protrusions sit above either end of the strap bar. It measures 21.43mm in length, 23.8mm in width and has a thickness of 2.14mm. The buckle weighs 3.8 grams.

Cast copper alloy shoe buckle of Post Medieval date, c.1660-1720. The outer edge of the frame is sub-rectangular in shape with rounded corners which concave slightly inwards at its upper and lower. The frame is drilled at the centre of the top and bottom to hold a separate spindle. It is decorated with moulded transverse ridges around both spindle holes. The buckle is 25.33mm in length, 14.72mm wide with a depth of 3.55mm. It weighs 3.6 grams.

Incomplete cast copper alloy La Tene III or Nauheim derivative type bow brooch from the Late Iron Age to Roman period, c.100 BC–100 AD. All that remains of the brooch is a simple slender curved bow. The bow has a backwards curving hook which opens into a cross bar which would have originally held the spring. The catchplate, spring and pin are all missing. The brooch is 58mm in length and weighs 4.6 grams.

The brooch consists of a simple slender curved bow with a small basic catchplate. The bow has a backwards curving hook which opens into a cross bar which would have originally held the spring. The spring and pin are both missing. The brooch is 39.8 mm in length and weighs 3.7 grams.

Incomplete cast copper alloy hooked tag of Post-Medieval date, c.1500-1600. The main body of the tag is hexagonal in shape with a loop for attachment on one side. Opposite to the loop sits is the shaft of the hook which projects outwards from the body for just over 1 cm. The hook has broken away from the end of the shaft. The tag is cast from one piece and shows faint remains of moulded relief with openwork. Very worn and abraded. The tag is 29.56 mm in length and 17.62 mm in width. It weighs 2.2 grams.

Cast lead 'palm-guard' of Post-Medieval date, c.1400 -1800. Irregular oval in shape with raised curved border on reverse. Obverse has two circular indentations directly next to each other at slightly off centre to the middle of the guard. The metal is a greyish pink and fairly corroded. Probably used to protect the palm from pointed tools during leather working. It measures 67 mm in length by 50 mm in width and weighs 64.6 grams. Recorded at Baddiley Rally in 2008.

Cast copper alloy buckle of Post-medieval date, c.1660 -1720. The frame is sub trapezoidal in shape. Both the upper and lower frame have two pairs of symmetrical lobed knops. At the centre of which sit transverse moulded lines over the spindle hole. On both outer edges are two symmetrical openwork apertures with a grooved pointed knop at their centre. The buckle measures 25 mm in height with a width of 36 mm. It weighs 4.6 grams. Recorded at Baddiley Rally in 2008.

A cast copper alloy crotal bell of Post-Medieval date, c.1500 -1800 The bell is a hollow sphere with square suspension loop at the top. The sphere is divided into two hemispheres by a moulded horizontal rib running around the centre. On the rib sit two adjacent sound holes which are joined by a slit which runs round the lower circumference. The bell measures 37mm from loop to the base of its body and has a diameter of 28 mm. It weighs 20.8 grams. Recorded at Baddiley Rally 2008.
