A cast lead-alloy weight of the Post-Medieval period, c. 1600-1800. The weight is triangular in plan and trapezoidal in section. An iron suspension hook seems to have been attached to the weight through a hold in its centre, though the iron only remains where it has been pressed against the weight itself, with the suspension loop or hook now missing. It weighs 1.06 oz, suggesting that it was intended as a 1 oz weight.

The scene depicts, in worn, low relief, a man riding backward on a donkey walking/running left. A cast lead shield-shaped weight of late Medieval to early Post-Medieval date, c. 1400-1600. The weight is shield-shaped, bearing a wider lower tier, and an inset second tier of equal thickness and shape, bearing the three heraldic lions of England on its face. The face of the first tier between the edge and the base of the second tier bears pellets contained within a waved-shaped border. Centred in the top of the second tier is a rectangular hole that runs through the thickness of the entire weight, presumably to enable suspension of the weight. The reverse bears no decoration.

A cast lead-alloy Medieval trade weight, c. 1100-1500. The object is pyramidal in shape, with exaggerated height relative to the size of the rectangular base. Each face bears a vertical central incised line, with approximately 10 notches made in the corner-joins of each face. The apex of the weight has larger grooves in the centre of each face, giving the appearance of four tall crenellations at the top of the piece. Between each of these crenellations is a circular perforation, one set slightly higher through the object than the other perforation. These perforations would have allo…
