Roman debased silver or plated denarius, probably of Caracalla (AD 196-217), probably dating to c. AD 210-3 (Reece Period 10), probably MARTI PROPVGNATORI, Mars advancing left, holding spear and trophy.  Mint of Rome. RIC IV, pt. 1, p. 244, cf. no. 223. The metal content of the coin is unclear. Silver denarii of this period were base so can attract green verdigris. If the coin is plated, however, it would be a contemporary copy.  This is a tentative identification. Diameter 19.12mm, weight 2.19g.
