Strap bar and part of the loops of a Post Medieval cast copper alloy double loop buckle frame, c. 1550-1650 AD. The strap bar is narrowed with an old break at one end. At the other there is a collar dividing it fraom a large knop from the sides of which project the oval loops of the frame. Less than 5% of each loop remains attached to the knop, both ending in old breaks. The strap bar and loops are D-shaped in section. The knop is decorated with raised m,oulded design of three overlapping loops. It is now 14.6mm long, 31.4mm wide and 3.2mm thick; it weighs 2.42g.

Loop part of a two part cast copper alloy dress fastener of Post-Medieval, seventeenth century date (AD 1600 - AD 1700). The fastener is flat and largely sub-oval in plan with an integral rectangular loop at one end seperated from the main plate by a raised collar. The loop is broken with most of the outer side missing. At the end opposite the loop, and in the centre of each side, there are integral perforated knops each with a small knop on the outer edge, the one opposite the loop is broken and mostly missing to an old break. One end of one half of a cast copper alloy Post Medieval toggle clasp (c. 16th century AD). The main body of the clasp which would have been attached the the item it clasped, is missing leaving just the eye of the toggle with a small attched loop. There is a double collar across the junction with the main plate with an old break beyond it, a recess on the back next to the back may indicate there was a rivet hole at this point and the break is across the hole.
