15 pieces of flint debitage, mostly from multi-directional cores but some possible blade production. Seven tertiary pieces the remainder secondary. Most have only small amounts of cortex, one has c.25% surface coverage. the remaining cortex suggests pebble flint was used. Mostly translucent dark grey-black flint with paler grey mottling. Some mid grey and mid grey-buff pieces. The pieces are in general very small indicating a working of the material down to the smallest usable pieces. Home made lead die, probably of 19th century date. The die is a cube with two opposing convex sides and four flat sides. It is unlikely the die would settle on the convex sides leaving four options. On three sides a letter has been scratched by hand: T, P and L and on the fourth side is a large indent. It is 18.7mm across the convex sides, 15.2mm by 15.9 across the others and weighs 36.21 grams.
Home made lead items are hard to date precisely but the style of the lettering suggests a relatively modern date.

A cast copper alloy foot and part of a leg from a Medieval to Post Medieval vessel. The leg is broadly D-shaped in cross section with flat front and convex curved back. There are three narrow ribs running down the length of the front and onto the foot. The leg flares outwards at the front to form the foot which has a flat base. The leg rises at c.85 degrees from the base. One front corner of the foot appears slightly mis-cast and there is an irregular old break at the top of the leg. Part of the cast copper alloy leg from a Medieval to Post Medieval vessel. The leg is broadly trapezoidal in cross section with a central rib running down the length of the front. There are irregular breaks at the top and bottom and there are several indents, probably form mis-casting, towards one end. It measures 26.4mm in length, 42.2mm in width, 18.1mm in thickness and weighs 55.65g. It has a green-grey patina with patches of black sooting.

Post Medieval cast copper alloy pot foot and part of the leg. The leg is D shaped in section with a flat back; it is broken off just above a transverse collar with an old break. The prominent collar is rounded in section. The foot is also D shaped in section with three moulded ribs running down the front and a flat back. The base of the foot is rounded. It is 41.6mm long, 24.2mm wide and 14.1mm thick; it weighs 59.51 grams.

Lead weights in copper alloy casings are known from the 11th - 12th century, e.g. HAMP-EEBC91 but the material on this example appears to be set it. Half of a Post Medieval copper alloy double looped buckle. One loop is complete while the other is completely missing to old breaks. The frame is broadly rectangular in plan with the outer edge widening into a pointed projection forming a triangular end. The narrowed strap bar has a double lobed knop at either end. The front has a white metal coverage. It measures 21.3mm in length, 22.7mm in width, 1.9mm in thickness and weighs 2.54g.
Whitehead (2003; 82) illustrates a similar example with a wider frame, no. 510, which is dated 1620-1680 AD.

The chape has two cylindrical tubes at one end which hold the rusted remains of the seperate iron spindle which would have gone through the tubes and into the buckle frame at either side. Medieval or Post Medieval sheet copper alloy folded rivet, probably a repair for a copper alloy vessel. The rivet is made from a lozenge-shaped piece of sheet the sides of which have been folded in to meet in the middle and then back out. They have broken at theis second bend with a patinated break and the ends are missing. It measures 38.4mm by 18.8mm by 2.9mm and weighs 5.63g.
A similar rivet is illustrated in Egan's 'Medieval Household' (1998, p. 176, no. 489) and in Egan (2005:101) Fig: 87 and SOM-F2BFF7 is a complete example on this database.

Lower part of a copper alloy thimble, probably of Post Medieval date with angled sides a straight base and break across the upper edge which has removed the domed top. The thimble has small circular indentations arranged in a regular spiral up the sides. The upper edge has broken along one of these rows of pits, presumably because they are a weaker point.
