There is an indented dot in the centre and two concentric circles, one half way down the dome and one between the rasied section and border. The front is decorated with an incised design of a six petalled flower with pointed stamens between the petals within a line border. On the reverse is a integral shank, it if formed from a tab which is D-shaped in profile and rectangular in section pierced by a drilled circular hole. It has a diameter of 15.0mm, thickness of 8.1mm including the loop, 1.9mm excluding it and weighs 2.57 grams. Post-Medieval lead-tin alloy cast button. Circular in shape, with a slightly convex upper surface, a concave reverse and a narrow flat border around the edge. The upper surface is decorated with a raised design of a flower with a central pellet surrounded by eight long pointed oval petals, curved lines link the outer end of each petal. On the reverse is a casting line runnning from edge to edge and in the centre a rectangular sectioned stub, probably an incomplete integral loop. Cast copper-alloy front of a composite hollow button. The front is hemispherical with an incised design of a star or sun with a cenral circle with nine rays or points projecting from it and multiple parallel lines of hatching between each ray. The surface has a silvery apppearence suggesting it may be the alloy known as tombac. It is 14.7mm in diameter; 6.6mm tall and weighs 0.86 grams. An identical example is illustrated in Read (2005:73, no.295) from East Devom which he dates to the 17th to 18th century AD.

A cast copper-alloy handle fragment from a cooking vessel of Medieval or Post-Medieval date. This could either be part of a L-shaped handle lug from a cauldron, or possibly an open brace from below the handle of a skillet. The handle is oval in section with a small amount of the vessel body remaining around one end (19.6 by 18.8mm) and an angled old break at the other, possibly where it would have bent originally. A cast copper alloy foot and part of a leg from a Medieval to Post Medieval vessel. The leg is broadly trapezoidal in cross section with a wider front than back, the angles are rounded. The front of the leg angles forward at the base to form the foot which has a flat trapezoidal base. The leg rises at c.60 degrees from the base. There is an old break at the top of the leg and across the foot. On the remaining section of the front surface below the break is a raised line running down the centre. One part (hooked section) of a Post Medieval book clasp. The clasp is comprised of a front sheet of copper alloy and a back sheet of iron which only survives near one end. Medieval or Post Medieval cast copper-alloy double-loop buckle frame. The frame has two oval loops with widened outer edges. They are triangular in section with flat backs and a rounded ridge around the front. Both loops have a transverse groove across the centre of the outer edge forming a pin rest. The strap bar is narrowed. The pin is missing but iron corrosion on the strap bar may suggest it was iron. It is 20.1mm long, 14.2mm wide and 2.3mm thick; it weighs 1.64 grams. Post Medieval cast copper-alloy double-loop buckle frame. The frame has two oval loops with flat backs and inner sides and rounded, angled, outer sides. The strap bar is narrowed and worn even thinner in the middle. The upper and lower edges at either end of the strap bar have straight outer sides. The pin and buckle plate are missing. The frame is slightly bent in profile and 26.8mm long, 21.8mm wide and 1.9mm thick. It weighs 2.32 grams. Whitehead (2003) illustrates a similar buckle (page 54, No.305) which he dates to c.1500-1650 AD.

Post Medieval copper alloy rose farthing of Charles I (1625-1649), type and initial mark unclear, 1636-1644 AD. Although the design and inscription are illegible the small wedge of copper put into the brass coin to prevent counterfeiting is clear allowing it to be identified.
