An almost complete late early-medieval to medieval copper-alloy stirrup-strap mount of Williams Class A, Type 8, probably dating to c. AD 1000-1100. The abraded, and slightly bent, terminal of a post-medieval cast lead-alloy (pewter) spoon handle of late 17th-century date. Only this element of the flat handle remains; the rest is lost to an old break, while its own terminal is unclear due to abrasions. It is broadly trapezoidal, tapering from an expanded terminal.
