A worn fragment of a cast Late Bronze Age copper alloy socketed axehead, dating to c. 1300-700 BC. The fragment consists of the axe's blade above which is a worn and abraded termination, placed such that a small portion of the interior of the socket survives. Three lead vessel mends of uncertain date, possibly Roman given finds made in the vicinity. All three have waisted centres to accommodate the vessel wall, above and below which sub-circular tops and bases. The largest retains a small sherd of what may be a greyware. It measures 30 mm by 24 mm by 8.5 mm and weighs 39.65 g. A smaller repair may also retain a small piece of greyware. It measures 21 mm by 15 mm by 9 mm and weighs 15.36 g. No pottery is retained in the smallest repair. This measures 18 mm by 14.5 mm by 8 mm and weighs 7.65 g. Measurements: overall weight 62.66 g
