Early Medieval Anglo-Scandinavian cast copper alloy object fragment, possibly a harness mount. Flat sub-circular object with three apertures, the central one circular and each side one curved; rounded knop projecting from the edge, and a rectangular sectioned shank projecting from the opposite site; the shank is bbroken after 6mm. Debased Ringerike decoration on one surface; the other surface is undecorated. Red-brown patina, with a small patch of mid green original surface on the reverse.
