Unidentified object - horn strip mounted in silver with engraved curvilinear design. Sheet silver covers just over half the strip, flat and undecorated on one side, bevelled edges and end on the other side with engraved foliate design. A single silver rivet towards the end secures the silver casing. Length 40.3mm, width 9.7mm, thickness of horn strip 2.0mm, thickness of silver mount 2.9mm, weight 1.48g. Geoff Egan confirmed this is modern and so not Treasure. Not further identified.

ADDENDUM: This hoard of coins was originally beleived to consist of forgeries & blanks of contemporary Early Medieval date but following the reporting of these coins (to a FLO outside of the Lincolnshire area) it came to light that local sites were known to be 'seeded' with modern day forgeries. XRF testing also proved inconclusive in dating these coins to an earlier period. Modern cast copper alloy sub-rectangular drawer handle, with two projections on the reverse at either end with the remains of iron rivets. The obverse is slightly convex in both planes and decorated with a central longitudinal line of punched triangles flanked on either side by a beaded line, which are in turn flanked by groups of five punched lines. Twisted silver wire finger ring. The hoop is made from two parallel strands of wire, while the bezel is a flat spiral formed by twisting the ends of the wire and wrapping the extremities around the shoulders. One of the strands forming the spiral is twisted to form a rope pattern. Square sectioned wire although with rounded corners. Bent out of shape.
