An Elizabeth I silver sixpence, fifth issue, c. AD 1591 - 1594. The obverse shows a large bust of the Queen with hair swept back and a rose behind the bust with the inscription: ELIZABETH DG ANG FRA ET HIB REGINA (Elizabeth by the Grace of God, Queen of England, France, and Ireland). The reverse shows a long cross over the Royal Shield with 1593 above the shield. The inscription reads: POSUI DEU ADIVTOREM. Mint mark Tun.

A silver Irish issue James I shilling, c. 1603 - 1607 AD. Irish issues are slightly smaller than their English counterparts in weight, size and value.
The obverse shows a crowned portrait facing to the right, with a small, neat pointed beard with the inscription JACOBUS.DG.MAG.BRIT .FRA.ET.HIB .REX (James by the grace of God King of Great Britain France and Ireland). The reverse shows a large crown above an Irish harp with the inscription HENRICUS . ROSAS. REGNA. IACOBAS (Henry united the roses James the Kingdom).
Second issue - Mint mark: Martlet - Rose Mint - Tower Mint - London.

The Franco - allegorical Jetons German Nuremberg Jeton , Hans Krauwinkle of the late 16th century C 1588 - 1599 AD. These series of jetons are of the Pietate et Iustitia (Charles IX type) Many of these designs have been adapted from those of official French jeton struck by Charles IX (1560 - 74). There is an additional unusual feature to both the obverse, and reverse of the coin
On the Obverse there is an additional Cross on top of the crown that breaks through the pelleted border.
And on the Reverse there is Floral Foliage between the shield and the pelleted border

A German Nuremberg ship Penny Jetton, anonymous issues : c 1490 - 1550 AD. These where derived from the French proto types issued during the period circa 1461 to 1497 and the design was in use during 1488, as documented in a Paris mint record of that year. During their initial phase of expansion into the West European market for jetons, the Nuremberg jetton - masters devised the Ship penny '(Along with other designs already considered) to felicitate penetration of the French market.

A German Nuremberg jetton, Damianus Krawinkle c. AD 1570.
The obverse shows DAMIANUS KRAWINKLE with three crowns and three lis surrounding a broken rose with the inscription GOTES SEGAN MACHT REIC. The reverse shows RECHEN PFENNING with an imperial orb surmounted by a cross patty within a double tressure of three simple arches and three angles with an ornament in each external angle. The reverse inscription reads HANNS KRAVWINKEL.
Other common examples of Nuremberg Jettons, c 1586 - 1635 AD GOTTES. GABEN. SOL. MANOLA, same as above Reverse - HANNS KRAUWINKEL. IN. NVA. Same as above.
