The plate is sub-rectangular, the long sides converging slightly, towards the base. At the centre of the horizontal top side is a circular cut-out, the base of which extends into a downward-tapering groove. A Roman copper-alloy finger ring, made from a wide-cuff bracelet.
The bracelet employed is of flat section with parallel sides. On the outer surface a shallow groove is flanked by two parallel ropework ridges, each ridge bordered by a pair of grooves narrower than that at the centre. The two ends of the piece, which overlap slightly, are irregular, suggesting that the bracelet was broken by snapping rather than cutting.

A Late Iron Age to Early Roman copper-alloy Nauheim-derivative brooch.
The brooch has been cast in one piece, the strip then bent and rolled into shape. The distorted bow is of rectangular cross section, tapering to a pointed foot, on the underside of which is an unperforated catchplate, missing its rolled outer side. An internal chord and two coils are all that remains of the original spring mechanism; however, the presence of part of an iron axis bar, contained within these coils, attests to the brooch having been mended following the damage to the spring.

The broadly cruciform brooch comprises three arms of roughly equal length, with the uppermost vertical limb taking the form of a flat-sectioned ring with central cell. Possible traces of enamel are visible within this circular setting, and traces of a white metal coating are can be seen across the upper surface of the brooch. The strap-end is of flat section and is sub-rectangular, having outward bowing long sides. The uppermost element is a damaged strap slot, comprised of two plates, each with a corresponding pair of rivet holes and separated from one another by a gap. Part of an Early Anglo-Saxon copper-alloy small-long brooch.
Only the lower bow and foot survive, the remainder of the brooch having been lost in antiquity. The bow is of D-shaped cross section and extends smoothly into the flat-sectioned foot, whose concave sides flare towards a convexly rounded bottom edge. On the reverse the catchplate straddles the junction between these two elements; it extends backwards at 90 degrees and terminates in a rolled outer side.

Part of a late medieval to early post-medieval copper-alloy single-loop buckle.
The frame is broadly D-shaped, extending to a pointed pin rest and having surfaces that slope downwards and outwards. Two L-shaped prongs extend backwards from the inner end of the frame and represent the remains of the forks to which the now-missing plates would have been soldered. The axis bar is contained with a cylinder, and the flattened and tapering copper-alloy pin is attached via a central slot.

An incomplete copper-alloy Hod Hill type brooch, dating from the mid to late 1st century AD.
The uppermost element of the brooch is an axis bar damaged cylinder, formed by rolling backwards the top of the headplate. The axis bar is missing, as is the pin, the latter of which would have been attached via central slit. The headplate tapers into the bow, which, apart from two opposing right-angled lugs (the right-hand one damaged) near the base, has straight, parallel sides. A medieval copper-alloy rotary key, probably from a casket.
The key has been made from a piece of sheet metal which has been folded to form the stem. The flat-sectioned bow is lozenge-shaped, with a sub-circular aperture at the centre. A longitudinal seam extends the length of the stem which is of oval cross section, tapering to a pointed tip, beneath which is a broadly C-shaped bit.
