A post-medieval lead-alloy object of uncertain function. The distorted piece comprises a flat-sectioned heart shape. The upper surface is decorated by two relief-moulded spirals, the inner ends of which project towards the bottom point of the heart and are overlain by a circle. The perimeter border consists of a plain rim with inner band of moulded pellets. An incomplete copper-alloy spur rowel, probably dating from the post-medieval period. The flat-sectioned rowel has a pentagonal central area with a circular perforation at the middle and four of an original five projecting spikes. Between each spike and the next is a short ridge bordered by a pair of grooves. Maximum diameter: 30.6mm; thickness: 2.5mm. Weight: 4.05g.

An incomplete copper-alloy Hod Hill type brooch, dating from the mid to late 1st century AD. The broken head-plate has a central slot in its front edge, with attached iron corrosion from the now-missing pin and axis bar. The back of the head-plate tapers towards the wider bow. This bow forms a high arch, is of D-shaped cross section, has a transverse ridge at the top and flares at the bottom, terminating in a moulded lip. A fragment of a Late Roman copper-alloy bracelet. The surviving curved piece represents the terminal end from a penannular type bracelet of 'hook-and- eye' type. The hoop is of flat section, its straight sides converging towards a ring-shaped terminal. Length: 31.3mm; maximum width (terminal): 9.7mm; thickness: 1.4mm. Weight: 2.41g. Similar bracelets were found in excavations in Colchester (see Crummy 1983: fig. 47).

A fragment of a Late Roman copper-alloy strip bracelet. The piece, which is of flat section and parallel-sided, has been broken off at both ends and flattened. Three panels of decoration survive. The first panel, bordered on each side by a transverse groove and adjacent ridge, is filled by four ring-and-dot punchmarks. A plain panel with bevelled corners is located at the centre. The third panel is decorated by a herringbone groove pattern with a longitudinal groove at the centre and a transverse ridge and groove at the inner end.
