An incomplete cast copper-alloy single looped oval buckle frame (c. 1350-c. 1400). This buckle is flat at the front on convex at the rear. It has an enlarged outside edge. At the front of the outside edge it has a central pin slot, decorated either side. The abstract decoration is composed of linear incised lines and annulet punch marks; this may be an abstraction of the confronted birds motif seen on similar buckles. An incomplete cast copper-alloy Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) small-long brooch (c. 450-c. 550). The lower part of the brooch and the pin are missing. The brooch has a trefoil head-plate with 'D'-shaped arms, square and plain at the centre. The bow is arched in side profile and tapers in width slightly from the top to the bottom where there is an old transverse break. The top of the bow has a width of 9.8mm and the width at the bottom is 8.9mm. At the front, the top of the bow is flat and its lower part is bulbous with chamfer at each corner. A Medieval copper-alloy single-looped buckle frame with a folded sheet copper-alloy plate. The frame (14.1 x 20.4 x 2.6mm) is 'D'-shaped in cross-section, convex on the outside and flat on the inside. It has a narrowed bar. It has a tapering copper-alloy pin, rectangular in cross-section. A fragment of a post Medieval stoneware rim sherd with a horizontal ridge. Possibly a Raeren-type, or possibly an Aachen-type (1300 - 1800). A wheel thrown vessel. The fabric is hard fired with a grey core and brownish yellow inner and outer surfaces (Munsell Colour: 10YR 6/6). Above the ridge there is a line of impressed marks forming an abstract design that vaguely resembles letters. The distance between the rounded rim and the rib is 22.2mm. A complete Late Bronze Age cast copper-alloy tanged chisel (1150 BC-800 BC). It is triangular in form and rectangular in cross-section. The tang flares out for a distance of about 32.0mm and then flares more widely to the cutting edge. The cutting edge is evenly rounded in plan and is steeply 'V'-shaped in side view. Each side of the tang has an uneven surface. The surfaces have a mid-brown patina with some bubbly corrosion products. It is convex at the front and flat at the rear. At the outside edge there is moulded roundel. The bar is triangular in cross-section and has a knop at each end. There are traces of a mid to dark green patina and the breaks are old. 23.9 x 22.7 x 2.4mm. Weight: 3.25g. A similar buckle has been published and dated, 1550-1650 (Whitehead 1996: 63, ref: 377).
