Silver spoon, blackened with tarnish, of slip top form as current in the early -mid 17thCentury. Stem thickens towards the end, date letter (now illegible but of a form which suggests early rather than late 17thCentury date) punched on stem just before end. Rounded bowl, with leopard's head crowned for London in bowl. On back of stem, two marks, one maker's mark now illegible, and lion passant for London. London, probably early-mid 17th Century.

An iron post-medieval cannon ball (c. 1500-1850). The ball measures 88mm in diameter and weighs 2690g. The size and weight of the cannon ball indicates that it may have been made for firing from a Saker or Minion type of cannon, used in Britain during the 16th and 17th centuries. The cannonball is very corroded.

An incomplete, cast, copper alloy, sword belt hanger dating to the Post-Medieval period, AD 1500-1700. Description: The body of the hangar is in the form of a horizontal waisted, round bottomed M or tulip shaped plate, with incised vine/scrolling decoration. The object constitutes one half of the original hangar which has broken in half, with half a rivet hole remaining in the centre of the broken edge. Date: early 18th Century Description: Post-Medieval gold mourning ring. D-shaped band, exterior once decorated, now very worn. Inscription on internal surface: HS ob 25 Mar at 48 (HS died 25 March aged 48). There is a gap in the inscription where the year of death is usually represented, four lines have been scratched into this gap, rather than engraved, this appears to be 1711. Inscription is followed by a maker's mark DC crowned (?). Discussion: The same maker's mark appears on rings in the British Museum collections: AF1295, AF1339, and 1961…
