A complete 16th century copper-alloy end cap from a knife. It is solid and cylindrical in shape, one end has a slot filled with the corroded iron from the knife tang. It measures 17mm in length and 13.8mm in width. Both faces are decorated with an incised cross and the end without the slot has a worn incised six pointed star. This example is very similar from other from Suffolk such as one from Great Glemham, see SF-641CE4.

An unusual copper-alloy buckle plate most likely to be medieval in date. This buckle plate seems to be cast and is lozenge shaped with an opposing rectangular bar running down either side of the lozenge shape. It measures 28mm in width and 31mm in length. The plate has two parallel loops through which the bar of the frame would have been originally and a rectangular pin slot. An incomplete copper-alloy medieval circa 15th century purse bar. Roughly one half of the bar now survives, it has an attachment plate with two holes through it. It measures 54mm in surviving length, 13mm in width, including the attachment plate and 8mm in thickness. Both faces of the bar have a decorative cross-hatched design filled with black niello.

A copper-alloy oval shaped buckle frame and attached folded copper-alloy sheet plate of medieval circa 14th century in date. The frame measures 14mm by 10mm in size and the bar is offset and narrowed. There are tiny traces of a white metal coating on one face of the frame. The folded sheet plate is rectangular in shape and measures 15mm in length and 8mm in width. It is recessed to accomodate the frame and has a circular pin hole, There is an in situ copper-alloy wire pin attached through this hole via an open loop.

A copper-alloy medieval circa 14th century strap or belt mount. This mount is unusual as it is in the shape of a forward facing human face, which appears to be wearing a crown. It measures 16mm in length and 13mm in width across the crown, its widest point. The head is oval with a square chin and has incised triangular shaped eyes, a protruding nose and a horizontal groove representing the mouth with a diagonal groove to either side of this which indicates heavy cheeks. A complete copper-alloy bar mount with a swollen centre and terminal lobes of medieval circa 14th century date. This bar mount measures 19mm in length and 9mm in width across its central widest point. The frontface is rounded and the back face hollow. The swollen middle is decorated on the front face with cross-hatched grooves. There is an in situ copper-alloy rivet through the centre of each of the terminal lobes.

A fragment of a late Bronze Age socketed axe of South Eastern class A. Part of one side and the mouth with a double mouth moulding now survive, but the rest of the axe is missing due to old breaks. This fragment measures 32mm in width across the mouth of the socket and 27mm in length. A casting seam can be seen down the side.

Six cast copper-alloy cooking vessel feet and leg fragments which are most likely to be medieval and could date from 1300-1600 AD.
1: A small vessel foot and leg fragment measuring 24mm in surviving height and 17mm in width, 11mm in thickness and 17.09g in weight. The back face is flat and the front face rounded and the foot gently flares out from the leg and is rounded. All faces have a patchy black patina indicating that this vessel was used in an open fire.

A cast copper-alloy rim fragment from a cast copper-alloy cooking vessel which could date from 1300 to 1600AD. This rim fragment measures 54mm in surviving width and 27mm in height. Originally the rim diameter of the vessel would have been c17cm. The outer face has traces of a black patina due to this vessel being used in an open fire.

A cast copper-alloy religious figurine perhaps most likely to be a Saint or Apostle rather than Jesus and presumably mounted onto another object, possibly a wooden cross or perhaps a book cover. This figurine is most likely to be medieval and circa 13th century in date, its style is reminescient of limoge but it has no traces of enamel and could be a more local version of the style. An incomplete copper-alloy middle Anglo-Saxon pin with the terminal end of the shaft missing due to an old break now worn. This pin has a cuboid head with the corners cut off which measures 8mm in height by 5.3mm in width by 6mm in thickness. Each faceted face of the head is decorated with an indented ring and dot motif, apart from the upper face. There is a circumferencial collar where the head joins the shaft. The shaft has a circular cross-section and measures 18mm in length and 2mm in width.

A complete copper-alloy miniature axe, most likely to be a votive object and Roman in date.
The axe head measures 34mm in length and 13mm in width it is roughly rectangular in shape and becomes thicker and narrower towards the shaft end, the blade end flares to become wider and thinner and its tip curves downwards. This brooch is most likely to be of cruciform type as it has a top knob projecting from the centre of the headplate, however, as the foot is missing it is not known if it had the diagonstic horse-head terminal of cruciform brooches. A copper-alloy miniature vessel. It measures 48mm in height and has a rounded base; it is generally globular in shape with a very short neck and two parallel integral loop handles. It measures 35.4mm in diameter at its widest point and has a rim diameter of 23mm. There is a small irregular roughly circular hole through the base, which appears to have been created due to wear rather than being an intentional original feature of this vessel. An incomplete lead or lead alloy finger ring probably Roman in date and therefore either a cheaper version of a precious metal/bronze finger ring or possibly a lead pattern used to design and as a template for other metal finger rings. Only the bezel and fragments of the shoulders of this finger ring survives. The bezel is hexagonal in shape and hollow measuring 16mm in length and 15mm in width. The shoulders are decorated with openwork holes, which seem to be in rows of four.
