Rectangular in shape only the front face survives and has a rectangular pin slot and is recessed for the missing frame, it now slightly bent. The front face has two copper-alloy rivets through each of the attachment edge corners. It is decorated with a lion standing proud with its tail held high, the filed surrounding the lion is recessed and rpesumanly contained enamel originally. The lion itself has small punched dots on its body. This knob measures 16.22mm in length and 12.46mm in width, it is half round and 8.72mm in thickness. The knob is semi-circular in cross-section, the back face is hollow and filled with iron corrosion. The front face is decorated with a central transverse waisting and either side of this there are transverse grooves. On the back face of the knob a longitudinal slot can be seen, an iron bar runs through the slot and emerges out of both of the terminal end of the knob.
