half of 2 piece handle only, incomplete, damaged at blade end. Tapering trapezoidal shaped piece with hemispherical section, flat reverse, convex face. 1 Fe rivet extant at butt end. Decoration-3 panels incised double oblique lines. White, v abraded/denuded almost chalky appearance. Vesicular structure of bone visible at blade end. Reverse and butt stained with ferrous residue.
