An undatable, but probably Roman or Medieval, cast copper alloy, unidentified terminal with a broken square-sectioned shank 3x2x.76mm,which is octagonal in cross section with facets of unequal width. The item is tear-drop shaped with three grooved bands at the widest point. The sides converge to a rounded point.
